WhatsApp · controlled availability

A controlled WhatsApp handoff for document work.

Account-linked WhatsApp workflows are only offered in approved, configured deployments. Use the web workspace to prepare documents, run any available review, and complete signing.

How it works

From a controlled handoff to the right workspace step

1

Start in the workspace

Use the document catalog or AI Review workspace to see the tools available to your account.

2

Link an account when invited

A messaging workflow requires an account link and is only offered in an approved, configured deployment.

3

Use a secure handoff

A controlled workflow can direct you back to the appropriate workspace step instead of treating chat as the system of record.

4

Review and complete on the web

Document review, checkout, and signing remain subject to the access, safeguards, and methods shown in the workspace.

What you can do

Guidance outside the workspace, controls inside it

Account-linked guidance

When enabled for an approved account, a messaging workflow can collect limited prompts and direct the user to the relevant workspace action.

Workspace review

Automated review is offered only where the authenticated workspace shows it as available. Chat is not a substitute for reviewing the source document.

Signing handoff

A document can only enter the signing flow and use the signing methods that the workspace presents for that envelope.

Why controlled availability

Keep sensitive work in the right place

  • No unverified public contact route or unauthenticated chat upload
  • An account link and approved deployment before any messaging workflow is offered
  • The authenticated workspace remains the source of truth for review, storage, checkout, and signing
  • Document-specific requirements and product availability remain visible before you continue
Automated review is only available where the workspace presents it for your account and document. Its output is general information, not legal advice. A controlled messaging handoff does not change the need to check the source document or obtain appropriate professional advice for complex or high-value matters.
Good to know

WhatsApp contract review, answered

Can I start through a public WhatsApp number?

No public WhatsApp contact route is advertised on this page. Account-linked messaging is a controlled deployment option; use the web workspace unless you have been given access through your account.

Can WhatsApp replace the contract-review workspace?

No. AI Review availability, accepted files, automated output, and any price are shown in the authenticated workspace. A messaging handoff, where enabled, does not change those controls or make the output legal advice.

Should I upload a document to a chat because this page describes WhatsApp?

No. Do not send a document or sensitive personal information to an unverified chat contact. Use the authenticated workspace and the upload flow it presents, or follow a verified, account-specific instruction from the product team.

Can I sign a document from a messaging handoff?

The signing ceremony runs in the workspace. The workspace shows which signing methods apply to a specific envelope and any requirements before you proceed.

Do I need a Wizard Legal account?

Yes. The controlled messaging workflow is account-linked. A signed-in account is also required for the document, review, checkout, storage, and signing steps that the workspace makes available.
