In plain English — Clause 8 · Limitation of liability

The clause makes one side answerable for every loss the other side suffers, with no ceiling. A cap — often stated as a multiple of fees paid — is the usual counter-proposal. Whether that is appropriate depends on the contract value and your risk appetite.

This sample is written for this page, not taken from a customer contract. A real review runs in the authenticated workspace and its output has to be checked against the source document and your circumstances. Automated analysis is general information, not legal advice.

How it works

From upload to decision, in four steps.

The authenticated workspace shows the current flow. Pricing is shown before you pay, and checkout is optional at every step.

01 / Upload

Bring your contract

Upload a supported PDF, DOC, DOCX or TXT file in the authenticated workspace.

02 / Scan

Clause by clause

The automated pass labels each clause by severity and records what it matched on, so a flag is traceable back to wording.

03 / Understand

Read it in plain English

Open any flag for a plain-language explanation and the suggested change. Check each one against the source document.

04 / Act

Revise, sign or ask

Take the wording into your next round, move the document into signing, or request a consultation.

What's included

One review, everything itemised.

The full output for every contract, with the limits stated on the same line as the capability.

Accepted files
PDF, DOC, DOCX and TXT, up to 25 MB per contract. The workspace states the current limit before you upload.
Clause flags
Automated severity labels per clause, each with the context the label was derived from.
Health score
A score out of 100 with a factor breakdown. It is a prompt for a closer read, not a verdict on whether a contract is valid, balanced or suitable.
Version compare
Additions, removals and modifications between two drafts of the same contract.
Negotiation wording
Suggested replacement wording for flagged clauses, to review and adapt — not ready-to-send legal advice.
Languages
Output language options are listed in the workspace for the document you upload.
Where it runs
In the authenticated workspace. An account-linked WhatsApp handoff may be offered in an approved, configured deployment, but it does not replace the workspace review flow.
Not included
Legal advice, a lawyer's opinion, and any assurance that a contract is enforceable. For those, request a consultation — availability and fees are confirmed separately.
Who it's for

Built for your side of the table.

The scanner reads the same contract differently depending on your role. Pick your side and the flags, scores and suggestions are framed for you.

Client contracts, checked before you commit

Retainers and statements of work carry the clauses that decide whether you get paid on time and what happens if scope moves. A first automated read tells you which ones to argue about.

Is clause 8 of this MSA fair for me as the supplier?

Clause 8 leaves your liability uncapped. A cap at 12 months of fees is the usual counter. General information, not legal advice.Automated reply

What does the auto-renewal clause actually do?

The term renews unless you give notice 60 days before expiry. Diarise that date, or ask for renewal to need written confirmation.Automated reply

Illustrative handoff · automated output is general information, not legal advice

Questions

About AI Contract Review

What file types can I upload?

Supported PDF, DOC, DOCX, and TXT files can be uploaded. The workspace shows the accepted formats and available output options.

When is AI Review available?

Availability is shown in the workspace before you run a review. Processing time can vary with file length, service availability, and the selected workflow.

Can this stand in for legal advice?

No. AI analysis is automated general information, not legal advice, and it does not substitute for a lawyer's judgement on your matter. For high-stakes matters you can request a consultation; availability and any fee are confirmed separately.

What does it cost?

Any applicable price and access terms are shown in the workspace before checkout. Consumer subscriptions are not offered and charges do not include a tax invoice or GST claim.

What does the health score mean?

It is an automated rating out of 100 for the whole document, computed from the clause-level findings, with a breakdown of which clauses moved it. Treat it as a prompt for a closer read, not a conclusion about whether a contract is valid, balanced, or suitable for you.

What is the difference between the risk scanner and clause compare?

The risk scanner reads one document and labels each clause by severity. Clause compare takes two versions of the same agreement and shows what was added, removed, or modified between them.

Which languages are supported?

The workspace lists the output languages available for the document you upload, before the review runs. Language availability can differ by document and by deployment.

Can I review a contract over WhatsApp?

Account-linked WhatsApp handoff is a controlled deployment option, not a public review channel. The authenticated workspace shows whether AI Review is available and remains the place to upload a document, inspect automated output, and continue to other steps.

Is my document kept confidential?

Uploads are processed to produce your review and are stored against your account. Review the privacy policy for the current retention, deletion, and deployment details before uploading a sensitive document.
