How to add a signature image to a PDF signing request
A practical guide to drawing, typing, or safely uploading an authorised PNG or JPEG signature image in a Wizard Legal signing request.
A signature image is one of the local capture choices in a signing request. First, the owner prepares the final PDF, places a separate field for every signer, and sends the request. Each signer then chooses an available local method for their own field. Do not upload someone else’s signature image or treat a visual signature alone as proof of identity, authority, or a document’s legal effect.
Choose a local signature method
Pick a method inside a signing request. Aadhaar OTP and DSC are handled by the provider.
Draw
Draw your signature with a finger, mouse, or stylus.
Type your name
Type it and confirm the name shown.

Upload image
Upload a PNG or JPEG signature image.
Consent is confirmed before a signature is saved.
PNG or JPEG, up to 2 MB, recorded with the request.
Prepare the request before anyone signs
- 1Review the final PDF, its parties, fields, and execution requirements before creating the request. Correct the document while it is still a draft rather than altering it after a signer acts.
- 2Add every signer and give each person a distinct signature field. Use the last-page or every-page stack only when it matches the actual document.
- 3Set the signer route, deadline, and completion-notification settings, then send the request through the authenticated workspace.
Choose the local method in the signer view
- Draw: make a signature using a touchscreen, mouse, or stylus.
- Type: enter and confirm the signer’s own name using the typed-signature option.
- Upload image: drag and drop, paste, or browse for one authorised PNG or JPEG signature image. The signer view limits the image to 2 MB.
- Confirm the displayed consent before saving. Keyboard users can use the image chooser instead of drag and drop.
Keep the final document and record together
After completion, keep the final document with the product evidence record, notices, approvals, and other transaction material. Review the recorded timeline and the available network or device context against the expected process. A product record can help reconstruct activity, but it is not a provider certificate or an independent answer to identity, authority, stamping, witnessing, registration, or legal-effect questions.
